I chose this place because it had a mini fridge, but the fridge didn’t work. After my stay I realized they’d charged me twice. When I called to sort out the charge from them, they hung up on me more than ten times.

The rooms are really nice, the staff are friendly, and breakfast is excellent. Inside, the fish smell is okay, but it stinks outside because of the nearby market. If you can’t stand that smell, don’t stay here.

There aren’t any good restaurants nearby, and the room itself was disappointing for $450 a night during Formula 1. It was maybe 300 square feet, the bed was horrible, there were no washcloths in the bathroom, and the only free water was a six-ounce bottle with a note saying you could buy more. Before and after Formula 1, it’s just $99 a night. That 300 percent price gouging is ridiculous, and it’s not what I’d expect from the Marriott brand. NEVER AGAIN at any of their hotels.
