Distrito Condesa Rooms and Studios

The staff were so kind, sweet, and helpful. Our room was lovely, with a terrace that felt almost suspended among the trees, and the patio below smelled of blooming gardenia. There are dozens of excellent cafes within walking distance. Inside, the kitchen area where breakfast and coffee were served had charming art all around, and the lobby decorated for Dia de Muertos made a gorgeous selfie spot. This might be my favorite hotel anywhere.

We had a really good 6-night stay on a budget. The staff were helpful, the neighborhood was quiet for a city, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed and hot shower. There’s no A/C, but in April our room stayed cool, and they gave us a fan. Toast, pan dulce, orange juice, and coffee are available in the lobby each morning. It also felt very safe, with 2 secure doors to unlock before entering the building. Parque de México, lots of delicious restaurants, and the metro are an easy walk away. We had a great time on the tour to Teotihuacán and the Basilica de Santa María de Guadeloupe that Josue at the hotel booked for us.

The neighborhood is adorable and easy to explore on foot, and everyone working here was friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size and comfortable, and I loved staying here. Breakfast was delicious, with cereal, fruit, yogurt, fresh eggs, quesadillas, and toast. There’s no sign on the front gate, so you’ll need the street address to find this B&B.

The host was warm and very helpful with anything we needed. Our room was nice and clean, with hot water, shampoo, and towels, and the internet worked great. They weren’t serving breakfast because of the pandemic, but there was still coffee, juice, and bread in the mornings. Room service was available too. Thanks for a nice stay.
