The regional savory dishes were fantastic, though I was on vacation and happily ate dessert for breakfast every day 😂. The food is the main reason I’m giving this five stars, and the breakfast package is absolutely worth getting. I was traveling solo after a rough moment with my partner just six hours before our flight, so I was a bit emotional. The room was spacious enough for yoga, with a great bed, full-size pillows, and reliable daily housekeeping. If you tip the cleaners, do it each day since they rotate and don’t share tips. I mostly wanted sun and an occasional dip, so the pool was a bit of a letdown: three lanes and two very small pools, one of which I thought was a hot tub, though they were all the same temperature. The gym was lovely, and I appreciated that classes were offered even though I didn’t attend any. Tours picked me up at the hotel or nearby, which was really convenient. The neighborhood isn’t especially polished, but I felt safe by myself. Watch the sidewalks, though, I tripped and fell face-first a lot. I may stay in another part of the huge city next time, but I’d still recommend this hotel.

The only thing I wished the hotel had was a mini fridge. Otherwise, we’d happily stay again. Our room was clean, modern, and roomy, which is hard to find in the city without feeling cramped. The reception staff were especially kind and attentive, and housekeeping kept everything tidy each day. There’s a restaurant downstairs that’s handy any time of day, and the neighborhood is quiet. Downtown is about 10-15 minutes away by car. Ubers are cheap and convenient around here, with hardly any traffic. We loved pretty much everything about our stay.

The staff are what make this place stand out. I don’t speak Spanish natively, and everyone was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. This was my second stay, and it’s the friendliest IHG hotel I’ve been to anywhere. The rooms are always spotless, and the gym and pool area are great too. I loved everything about the hotel. Highly recommend, 10/10.

The rooms themselves were great, though our view wasn’t. I also had to go down to the lobby to get my keys reactivated, which was a hassle. We were here for two days, and the stay felt pretty average compared with other hotels. I wasn’t keen on the location either, since the street across from it was poorly lit.

Breakfast was nice, and the place is great overall. The one big downside was the shower: the water pressure was weak and the temperature only slightly warm.
