Hostal Condesa

My partner and I booked five nights but could only manage one before finding somewhere else. We didn't get a refund, and we left with bed bug bites. The toilets were clogged and wouldn't flush, and it took about 20 minutes for the showers to refill with water. Rooms were in poor condition, and the whole place felt unsafe. It was a deeply disappointing stay. I can't recommend it.

The place looked nothing like its Expedia listing. There were cockroaches, and my wife got bedbug bites. The shower tank took about 20 minutes to refill and heat, so another shower had to wait, and there were very few cooking supplies. One upstairs toilet stayed clogged for our whole stay, while the other had no water, probably because the tank was filling for the showers. Staff did nothing when we told them, only saying there were more bathrooms downstairs. That turned out to be one urinal, and it was out of order too. After seeing other reviews mention theft at the property, we left as soon as we could. We’d booked through Expedia for TD, and when Expedia tried to get us a refund, the business refused without giving a reason. I might honestly have been better off on a park bench.

Easily the worst place to stay.

The only thing I liked was the location. We rented the place for just two days and still couldn't get a decent night's sleep because of all the early morning noise, especially around the kitchen. It was already past 1:00 AM and people were still cooking. 🤔 There was also a water shortage, and I had to cut my shower short. 🥲 The management is terrible.
