The location is great and can save you money on getting around. The food and breakfast at the restaurant were okay, though the bar was never open. The hotel feels dated, but the staff were friendly enough even though they didn’t speak English. We only saw the one English-speaking person at check-in, so we relied on Google translator for the rest of the week. I had bed bugs in my first room and was moved to another, where a terrible smell came from the shower drain. I believe the hotel is mainly designed for Mexican domestic tourists. If you’re on a budget, I can recommend it for the location, but if you can spend more, I’d try somewhere else for better comfort and cleanliness.

The internet kept dropping, and the noise was extremely bad. A nearby terrace played music until 2am, so don’t take a room facing the road if you want to sleep. Rooms at the back have a different problem: an engine keeps starting and stopping through the night. The rooms are small and basic, but perfectly clean, and the cleaning ladies are lovely. The location is great if you want to stay in the historical area. Still, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The location is top-notch, and all the staff were super friendly. The cleaning service was excellent, and I was happy with the restaurant’s traditional Mexican and international food. My room was basic but had what I needed for a few days. It was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. There was a window onto the central hall with a cooling fan in it. The bathroom had two towels, soap, shampoo, a hairdryer, and one roll of very thin toilet paper each day.

A great spot for sightseeing in CDMX and really good value. We had a wonderful three-night stay and would come back. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the rooms were clean and quaint. The beds are very firm, if that matters to you, and the walls are pretty thin.

I stayed one night, and I won’t be back. There were bugs in the room and the sheets were stained. When I asked for a different room, they just handed me sheets to replace them myself. I woke up with a swollen face and bites all over my back. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.
