Hotel Montreal

The spacious room was a plus, and there’s a Toks restaurant a block away. The metro is right across the street, but it’s a long ride to the city center. Tlalpan isn’t really an area tourists expect to stroll around, and the staff were available but not especially welcoming. The few times I asked something, I felt like I was bothering them. There was no hairdryer or iron either. If you need to be near Tlalpan, I’d recommend staying here. For a safer area closer to the action, try Roma!

It's got an 80s hotel feel and a bit of a red light district vibe. If that doesn't bother you, the rooms are good and quiet, and the restaurant serves tasty food at good prices. Handy for an overnight stop if you're arriving by bus and flying out early.

The installations are new and clean, and room service was good. It’s close to the metro and about 10 minutes from Coyoacan city center. At the price we paid, breakfast should have been included. There wasn't really anywhere within walking distance, either.
