The room had only two outlets, neither near the bed, and the in-room safe didn’t work. It smelled of cigarettes throughout my stay, and cleanliness was a serious problem. The floors seemed not to have been cleaned in ages, with old guests’ lubricants making them slippery. The bathroom door handles and hair dryer felt slimy too. Only TWO rooms in the entire hotel have heating and AC. The others have neither, so you could freeze or melt, and they don’t provide space heaters. At checkout, the receptionist barely acknowledged me, with no eye contact or goodbye. There are plenty of other places at this rate. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

The walls were paper thin, so I could hear everything the neighbors were doing late into the night. There’s also no heat or AC in the rooms. The hotel is large, breakfast is included but you choose from a set menu rather than a buffet, and the hot water and Wi-Fi both worked great.

The room was nice, but it’s far from the center. The night staff were rude and wouldn’t give me extra towels. I’m a woman and like to have two towels. They insisted on charging extra for everything. If you can, I suggest paying in pesos rather than by card.
