La Casita de Coyoacán

The Casita is in Coyoacan, and I feel completely safe there. There’s plenty of hot water in the shower and the price is fair, so the stairs and some weekend music haven’t put me off returning. I’ve stayed here since 2020, both on my own and as a group leader. Every visit, the staff have done what they could to make the stay a good one, and they’ve dealt with any problems promptly and professionally. A couple of things to keep in mind: most rooms in the main house are upstairs, so getting a huge American Tourister suitcase up the steps alone could be a challenge. The Casita is in a semi-urban area with a few nearby bars and restaurants, so there can be music and noise late on weekends. Neither has stopped me from staying here.

The hosts are so sweet and ready to help, and the house is in a pretty, safe neighborhood about a 15-minute walk from the metro. It’s clean and cozy, and gives you a look at a traditional Mexican home. A great place to stay when visiting Mexico.

I liked seeing how each room had its own style, and the rooms and bathrooms were nicely arranged. Los Señores took great care of our needs at mealtimes. It’s a good choice for a quieter stay with easy access to exploring Mexico City.

The house was very clean, and the neighborhood felt safe. It’s around a 15-minute walk to central Coyoacan and the Frida Kahlo Museum. The hosts were wonderful and treated us so well. I’d absolutely recommend staying here.
