The rooftop was one of my favorite places to hang out, enjoy the atmosphere, and meet other travelers. The team also gave really helpful advice for exploring the city. The staff and volunteers were so welcoming and friendly, and made it easy to meet people. The rooms were nice and clean, and the whole hostel felt comfortable and well looked after. It's close to everything and especially handy for the metro. There isn't an elevator, so hauling bags up the stairs can be tough when you arrive, though after that it was no problem. I felt so comfortable that I extended my stay. Everything was fun, easy, and well organized. I'd absolutely recommend it as a place to start your trip.

Paula at reception really made us feel at home. She's so nice and knows a lot about the city and whatever you might want to ask. The hostel is right in the heart of Mexico City, with comfy beds, hot showers, and a great roof terrace where they serve free breakfast every day. I'd definitely stay again.

The location near Parque Alameda was fantastic, and I liked the cooked breakfast and clean facilities. Most of the staff were kind, especially Oscar, who treated me like family. Still, I didn't enjoy my stay at Massiosare. I slept so badly that I ended up switching hostels. I got sick while staying there, partly because of people snoring in the room, which isn't really the hostel's fault, and partly because the room was a little cold. There were no curtains, the beds were poor quality even for a cheap hostel, and the water never got properly hot. There are four flights of stairs, though that wasn't a big issue for me. The hostel tried to keep my 100 pesos deposit. One staff member sorted it out after checking the camera, and I appreciate her doing that, but the staff member who lied never apologized. The place could do better by upgrading the beds and adding curtains when it can afford to, and improving the showers so the water gets properly hot. I wish them the best, even though my stay was unpleasant.

A really nice place for meeting people when you're traveling solo. It's friendly and feels safe, with a great location and a lovely roof terrace. Since the hostel is above one of Mexico City's best-reviewed vegan restaurants and is already vegan friendly, I think they'd be missing a trick if they didn't make breakfast vegan friendly too. It could become a favorite for vegan backpackers, just a thought.

I was there for 10 days and felt right at home. The terrace and breakfast are real game changers for meeting people, and the volunteers are great. Shout out to Paula and Claire!
