The included breakfast was somewhere in the middle, neither bad nor especially good. The hotel is very central, though the neighborhood itself isn't that pleasant.

The location is great, but that’s about it. The rooms were dirty, and the bed was covered in hair.

The room was on the snug side, about the size of a master bedroom at home, but it would be fine for a couple visiting the city. I had a really enjoyable weekend here on my own for a wedding, and I’d come back, gracias! I could walk to the museums and park in the historic district, then easily return to drop things off or change before heading back out. The room and bathroom were spotless. I didn’t find the complaints about old towels justified; mine were perfectly fine. Breakfast was a good continental spread with Mexican dishes, and there are two patios for eating outside. The staff were all courteous, check-in was quick and smooth, and the front desk is open 24 hours. There was also a security person at the entrance, so I felt safe the whole time.

The staff were the highlight, so friendly and helpful. It felt like good value, and the hotel is close to places you can walk to or reach by public transportation. The beds were comfortable, the shower had hot water, and the AC worked well. There’s a small window for fresh air, too. Breakfast is included and was great, and guests can use the washer and dryer for free.
