Edmundo made our visit especially memorable. He was warm and personable, and his enthusiasm for Mexico City, including its history and culture, really came through when he shared what he knew. We felt welcome and would happily return to ULIV Cibeles in Roma Norte. The location was excellent and easy to explore on foot.

Good for the price, and the location is great. I was a little worried after reading some reviews, but the hotel was quiet and the water was hot. The staff were attentive and kind. The rooms could have been cleaner, though it honestly wasn’t a big deal. The facilities could use a bit of care too.

I really enjoyed my month here. The balcony view was beautiful, with the city and sunsets in sight, and a faint sound of music and people below that I found comforting. The streets weren’t too busy, and I barely heard the honking Mexico City is known for. The place was pretty clean, and the rooms had pots and pans, with extras available if you asked. Laundry was easy to use, and there was a decent gym and a public patio. The location was a big part of the appeal. I felt safe in the area, with security always on, while still being careful as usual. I could walk to different neighborhoods, restaurants, bars, shops, the mall and weekend markets. Some of the best food I had was just down the block, and I still crave it. Customer service was very good. The front desk was friendly, attentive and ready to help make things easy. One of the main men there, who also spoke English and I think was a manager, checked in on me regularly. Jordan was especially helpful and stepped up whenever I needed something. A couple of things could be better: the trash cans should be improved, since food smells if you don’t take the bags out often. Mosquitoes came in when I left the balcony door open, so a screen door would let in air without them. The bathroom shower could use new tiles. Otherwise, I found things clean, and I’d recommend staying here.

The apartments were comfortable, clean and nicely set up, with a good gym and a large outdoor terrace where seating was never hard to find. There’s also free self-service laundry, with washers and dryers. Front desk security is good and staffed around the clock, and the area felt quiet and safe. Several transport options are nearby. Panadería Rosetta Puebla is a quick walk, about three short blocks away. A couple of small details: the wash setting for colors takes just over an hour, and the coffee machine uses small neaprsso capsules.
