The hotel was clean and quiet, and there are nice cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood. The price felt fair: the city center is about a half-hour walk away, and the nearest metro station is only minutes away on foot. Just be aware there's no elevator if stairs are an issue for you.
The rooms and beds are spacious and clean, though there's a slightly odd smell. The plants on the balconies make the place look nice. Still, whenever I leave my key at reception, they ask if I'm checking out, even though I've paid for a week. It seems they don't keep records of anything. Also, cash only, no card payments.
If you've got a car, there's free parking. The hotel is beside beautiful kiosco Morisco and close to Buenavista subway/metrobus. It's a fine place at this price if you're out exploring Mexico City all day. Just expect a bed and a bath, without amenities or luxury.
There's no elevator, and the place is a bit noisy, with no amenities to speak of. It feels like an old-world hotel, really just somewhere to sleep. Our room is very clean, though, and there are plenty of eateries around. We're on day three of seven. A huge mall with a Santander bank is nearby, and Walmart is within walking distance.
The place is well cared for and clean, and good value for the money.
