Stay somewhere else. The hotel has a cool look, but it's dated, and my room felt like an XXL Motel 6. The fan didn't work, the bed was so hard and cheap that we couldn't sleep, and the bathtub and shower were pretty dirty. Everyone else on my business trip who could sleep moved to another hotel. The toilet was a problem, and none of the room phone options for the front desk, room service, or anything else worked. Food was somewhere between okay and inedible. I couldn't eat the hamburger. At the restaurant, the servers were rude and we waited a long time for food, even after waving and seeing them serve the table in front of us. The worst part was service generally. My partner and I waited 30 minutes trying to get a drink at the "bar" while the server ignored us and kept serving others. Don't stay here if you don't speak Spanish. At checkout they charged us for meals we'd paid for in cash at the restaurant, and wouldn't remove them from the bill. There's nothing around the hotel, either, so you'll need to drive everywhere.

It was 40 degrees outside and 50 in my room. The heater blew air, but the room stayed so cold that I slept in my clothes and coat. They checked it and said that was the best it could do. The restaurant food I ordered to the room was terrible, though the server still wanted a tip. There wasn't a microwave in the room, either.

The Sunday brunch was amazing, with a huge variety of food, and breakfast was nice too. The rooms are large and clean, and the hotel has a nice gym. I found it busy, and overall it felt professional. It's in the middle of Mexico City, fairly close to a mall and supermarket. Getting to the airport takes about 45-60 minutes depending on traffic. If you're tired of the hotel's food options, Uber delivery can arrive in under 30 minutes. They don't put extras on your final bill like other hotels; you have to pay right when you order. Keep cash or a card with you. They don't accept USD, so bills have to be settled in Pesos.

The service, room, and restaurant made the trip worthwhile, even with the distance. It's a very nice hotel in CMDX and well placed for UNAM and COLMEX. If you're hoping to see other parts of the city, though, the location may not feel central.

The location and service are excellent, but my room had no iron and the staff didn't bring one after I asked. The rooms badly need updating. I would avoid it.
