We booked a nonrefundable room for tonight, with check-in after 3pm. When we arrived at night, the clerk refused to let us in. We showed her the booking email, but she said it was for 3pm the next day. We hadn’t booked a room for tomorrow night, we booked for after 3pm today. We tried explaining this in fluent Spanish, but got nowhere. Now we’re just hanging out at the airport because it’s the only thing open. Thanks.

This place felt really scary. There are no windows in the rooms, hardly any closet space, and no drawers. The bathrooms were uncomfortable and the towels looked like rags. It’s nasty. Don’t come here unless you like feeling claustrophobic.

The location is a real plus, and with better management this could be a very good option. As it is, it's a basic hotel: the bathroom feels damp and moldy, the mattress squeaks with every turn, and the towels are old. Doors and stairs are noisy at night, and they didn't restock water or toilet paper on our second day.

The room had cleanliness issues, and the overall rooms could use improvement. More seriously, mine didn't lock, leaving my belongings exposed. I only noticed by accident. They also charged 100 Pesos to hold my luggage until the next day. Was I supposed to be angry at my "guests" for not picking up their bags for a reason?
