Pomona Apartments by Daju

There were plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, and I loved the location. The apartment at Pomona Apartments by Daju PULPO - Roma Condesa was beautiful, with a lovely balcony and view. The staff were helpful and friendly, and I couldn't beat the price. A relaxing, luxurious stay, five stars from me.

I've seen tourists arrive in Roma Norte and end up without a place to stay because of this host's poor management. The host deletes and then relists their Airbnb page, apparently to clear away the negative reviews. Dealing with them is a nightmare, and I would avoid the host and business or risk being left without accommodation when you arrive.

Do not book. We reserved two rooms at 35 Pomona in Roma Norte for October 27th, but after we reached Mexico City the host wouldn't respond or provide the key. We were stranded during the city's busiest weekend, lost two full days, and had to pay twice as much for a hotel far from where we needed to be. The supposed host, veronica, left us on read and deliberately hung up when we called. They still haven't replied to our request for a refund of over $1,000. They canceled my reservation only seven days after it started. The host, Ricardo Dagdug, was all I heard from. Worst company ever.

When I arrived, there was nobody at the apartments to let me in, despite the claim that a porter would be there. I called Richard Dagdug, the owner, but he didn't answer for four hours, so I'd already checked into a nearby hotel by then. They wouldn't refund any of what I paid, even though I never got access to the apartment. I went back the next day and saw renovated buildings that looked quite different from the attractive, photoshopped apartments on their website. Be very careful before booking.
