ULIV Roma Norte

The rooftop was lovely, and the free washing and drying facilities were great. The gym is small but functional, though the treadmill needs to be moved away from the mirrors because it's unusable as it is. There’s no elevator, but the stairs were easy. The room was clean except for a filthy floor that really needed proper cleaning. At night, other guests were loudly going up and down the stairs at all hours. Bring earplugs, though they provided some too. Light sleepers might want to skip this one. We booked the New York Style Suite through hotels.com and were glad we paid for the extra space. Some other rooms we saw looked boxy and small. From arrival, the staff and security were super friendly. For our travel dates, the value for money in Roma was unbeatable, and as British travellers we felt safe walking around Roma and Condesa at any time. It was a strong 4/5, and we'd stay again at the same price.

The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, and the neighborhood was lively and cool, with plenty of restaurants and shops. I had a one night stay in a simple small room. It was perfectly clean and comfortable, with a nice shower and TV. The bed was so comfortable that I had the best sleep in weeks. I wish I could've stayed longer!

I felt safe here, and bars and restaurants were an easy walk away. The room had a basic economy feel, but I thought it was worth the money. A decent spot if you like keeping to yourself.

The apartment had modern, spacious rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, and good lighting, including blackout curtains. AC in both rooms made sleeping in record high temperatures much more comfortable. There were enough dishes and utensils in the kitchen for light meals at home. We booked through Airbnb and the stay was fine, but there were a few big drawbacks. The floors were absolutely grimy, and housekeeping cost extra. We didn't pay for it because it didn't seem to include floor cleaning. The shower pressure and temperature kept changing, so it was hard to take even a short shower without the hot water cutting out or sputtering. The shampoo and conditioner were subpar enough that we didn't feel clean, though we should have brought or bought our own. The space was nice, but it was hard to get and stay clean, so we probably wouldn't return.
