A really welcoming place, with comfortable beds, helpful staff, and a good location. We had such a wonderful experience that I’d definitely come back. I can’t say enough about how kind the staff were.

I’m staying at this hotel right now, and I’d tell people not to book here. There’s no one at the front desk after sunset, the phone goes unanswered, and you have to use WhatsApp to contact the hotel. When I arrived, construction noise was already going on. I asked why no one had warned me about scheduled loud work during or after my booking and got only a basic apology. It’s Christmas week, and hammers, drilling, and yelling have been waking me up. I also saw another review saying renovation work was happening 10 months ago. I got a small injury and called the front desk to ask for Advil or Tylenol. No one answered, and no staff member was there, so I messaged on WhatsApp. They said they don’t give out drugs. Later, while limping back from the store with Tylenol, I asked for ice and was told they couldn’t provide any because of the construction. For a four-star hotel, I expected some in-person hospitality or basic help, even a bag, cup, or bowl of ice. I had to go out again and ask a nearby restaurant for it. After going sightseeing and meeting friends for dinner, I came back late in the afternoon and found someone had changed my linens. That was disturbing because at check-in the hotel said linens aren’t changed more than once every three days for environmental reasons, and I hadn’t even been there three days. I’d also seen another review about cash and belongings being stolen from the safe. I suspect someone entered my room to check what valuables I had and take them. If it had been routine cleaning, I’d expect it in the late morning, not late afternoon. I called again with no answer and no one at the desk, then messaged WhatsApp and got another basic apology. The windows in my room don’t open, the shower pressure is poor, and there’s no real in-person service. I don’t consider this a real four-star hotel. There’s nothing of value within walking distance, in my view. Pick a different neighborhood and hotel. I’m sure they’ll steal your things as soon as they see you leave your room for the day.

The lobby was lovely, and maybe some other rooms are cleaner or nicer than the one we had. For a four-star hotel, though, a few details fell short. We booked a queen room through CapitalOne and got a full bed instead. It wasn’t a big deal since we had an early flight, but room descriptions should be consistent across booking services. There was a Nespresso machine but no pods, and no fridge. The bathroom needed a deeper clean, with hair and lint around the vanity and in the shower. It would feel tight for a larger person, too. The rain shower head was clogged with pink, goopy debris, which we cleaned off before bathing.

Casa Prim was such an adorable, beautifully decorated hotel. The room was clean, the location was great, and the workers were incredibly friendly and gave good service. I’d stay here again!

One of the city’s best hotels for me. I stay here whenever I visit.
