Noruega Inn

The reception staff were so friendly and welcoming, they made the place feel like home. It’s a simple hotel, but the rooms are spacious and comfortable. My room had a mini-fridge, which was handy for keeping breakfast costs down, though I’m not sure every room has one. There are also microwaves and coffee makers on both floors.

The staff were friendly, but the bathroom was quite dirty and had no windows or ventilation, so we chose not to use it. The sheets weren’t clean either, and one of the blankets was especially filthy, with what looked like dried baby poop on it. The blankets were awful, the kind with fringed edges that the government distributes. There’s a screen and they even provide a remote, but you can’t watch anything on it. It isn’t a smart TV.

I went to work, and she said she wasn’t going to do anything. She’d said she would go home and see what would happen, but she didn’t answer me or explain why she wouldn’t leave it for me at home. She hadn’t said she was going to do that for me, either. Nothing happened to me, and she didn’t say anything.

The owners gave excellent service, and I enjoyed my stay a lot. The room details could use some improvement, but it was very comfortable. I’d recommend this hotel over most of the local options.
