Breakfast had a satisfying range of choices, and the location made it easy to get to nearby shops and restaurants. My room was clean and comfortable, with the essentials you'd expect. Check-in went smoothly, and the friendly, attentive staff made sure I had what I needed. A couple of things could improve, especially room service timing and the waits for the elevator, but it was still a pleasant and reliable stay in Monterrey.

An elderly man and two young children were turned away even though there was a room and my reservation was active. The associate showed clear disdain and refused to offer any solution. There was no explanation or alternative, just the door. This wasn't a policy decision, it was a choice.

The room had no fridge, and the heat made for a horrible stay. Even after I reported it, maintenance said the room simply couldn't get below 76F or 24C, and they wouldn't let me try another one. The next day I came back from work to find the AC had been turned completely off, and the room was over 80F. Never coming back.

We were only there a short time, but it was excellent. The staff were amazing, kind, and attentive, and made sure we were comfortable. We really liked the affordable breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Definitely staying here again.
