The hotel has lovely scenery, with lots of hallways and flowers and plants that make the atmosphere feel harmonious. Our rooms were spacious and very clean, and we had no problems. Getting to the parking lot was tricky because of the steep entrance, which is also used by pedestrians, so it doesn’t seem very wheelchair friendly. It cost a bit more than I’d have liked, though it was Día De Muertos, when prices go up in Morelia and nearby towns.

The taxi was the one real snag, it took a long time to get to the hotel. Otherwise, it’s a very good place to stay for a vacation or business, peaceful and relaxing, away from the city center. The hotel feels safe and comfortable, with classic, regional Morelia architecture and professional service. The restaurant is spacious, with regional food that’s affordable and comfortable.

I saw the hotel online and it looked beautiful, but the woman answering questions about bookings was so rude on the phone that I don’t want to find out what staying there is like. Every question seemed to annoy her, and she had no manners, as if she didn’t like her job. What a shame.

It’s in a quiet spot on a hill, with a gated entrance. Parking is tight. You need to get a junior suite for a view, otherwise there isn’t much to see. Good, but not great.

A beautiful hotel with good service and nice, spacious rooms. The tub and TV remote didn’t work, so maintenance could use some attention.
