Casa de los Dulces Suenos

The location was handy for sightseeing, with most attractions an easy walk away, and street parking right by the entrance. I liked being able to bring my dog, and the staff were welcoming. My room had high ceilings and plenty of space, though the bathroom was dated and had a cockroach when I first went in. The floors also weren't clean, and I got a nasty bite from some kind of bug, possibly a spider, that sent me to the hospital. I can't say what caused it. The restaurant sits in the central courtyard and serves food during the day, but I didn't enjoy the meals, especially the coffee. The hotel is in an old colonial building, with narrow double doors that were awkward to get through and locks that took practice, especially with luggage in hand. My room faced a busy street and could be noisy during the day. The bathroom needed an update. Even with those problems, the pet-friendly stay was comfortable enough that I'd consider coming back.
