The rooms are small, and the mattresses and pillows could use an update, though they were still sleepable. Wi-Fi was strong, and the staff were very helpful. It's a clean, charming old hotel with a 1950s feel.

There's an old colonial charm to the place, with small balconies on every room and a pleasant view of the church and surrounding area. It's an easygoing, very basic hotel, but clean, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The plaza, little shops and restaurants are close by.

For a low price, we got a decent room facing out of town. There was also open access to the stairs up to a huge, empty rooftop, with magnificent views across the city, church and mountains.

The rooms weren't great, but the location made up for that. There was plenty to see, do and eat within walking distance, including a beautiful church, shops and restaurants. Taxco is a lovely small town with great views.

It's an older, quaint hotel in the heart of Taxco, with reasonable rates and friendly staff. Parking is limited, and Wi-Fi only works in the lobby and patio. We were there midweek, when the restaurant was closed, but there are lots of good restaurants nearby and a 24-hour Oxxo beside the hotel.
