Hotel California

For about 730 pesos, I got a room with three full beds and AC. It’s a pretty cheap hotel, not the fanciest, but it also had a TV and a bathroom. No complaints.

The main building has small rooms, very hard beds, an ancient TV, and plumbing in the walls that sometimes makes extremely loud noises. There’s also a one-foot step up to the bathroom that could be dangerous or hard to manage for older guests or anyone with a disability. The staff are very friendly, though. There’s an Oxxo by the parking lot entrance, ATMs and places to eat nearby, and you can walk to Plaza 5 de Mayo, the Mercado Municipal, and downtown businesses. The Hotel California has two buildings, an older main one and a newer one with nicer, more expensive rooms. The reviews and information for them shouldn’t be lumped together because they’re dramatically different. Keep in mind that the discount rates are for the older building, not the newer, nicer one. There are better affordable places to stay in Navojoa.

I usually stay here when I travel to Mexico, but last time they put me in a room by the street and it was too noisy. They didn’t want to change my room. The service wasn’t the best.

Very old and needs a remodel. The bathroom door is falling off, the shower was very dirty, and paint is peeling inside the room. I don’t recommend it.
