The main office staff were friendly and professional, and I liked having a security gate and being right on a main road. My room was clean and came with an ironing board and hair dryer. The big downside was the nightclub across the street. I stayed Friday night, and the music was so loud I could feel the bass thumping in my chest all night. Gaps around the door made it even worse. This isn't their fault, but it's a major thing to know before staying. Maybe it's only noisy on weekends.

The staff are excellent, and management is great. It's a simple little hotel in the middle of Laredo, with okay facilities and a location I actually liked. The area has nice people and delicious food, including taqueria arandas two blocks away, with wonderful tacos. But the noise is a huge problem. The hotel is right in front of an event center and bar, las adelitas and Kalimba. I stayed on a Saturday and couldn't sleep all night, even with earplugs. It feels like the local police do nothing about the loud music, for obvious reasons. I've never wanted dawn to come so badly so I could pack up and leave. I do not recommend staying here.

The rooms were comfortable, quiet, and nicely furnished, and the cleaning staff did a good job. Front desk help was outstanding. The staff also helped me track down services and places I wanted to visit. Bravo!
