Quality Inn Nuevo Laredo Nuevo Laredo

We had a quiet, private stay during our family's Christmas trip and liked the complimentary breakfast. The shower was the one drawback: the water was too cold and never got warm enough.

The buildings wrap around a huge courtyard and pool, and the pool really is large. Downstairs rooms have little patios, while the upstairs ones look out over it from small balconies. Our room, 202, was roomy and clean, with a larger shower and great water pressure. The phone was dirty, though, and the card listing hotel services was missing. We arrived late and were welcomed by a friendly young man who was open about his limited English. He still communicated politely, while my Spanish could definitely use work. The property was well kept. Breakfast was meant to run from 6:00-10:00 am, but at 7:00 the buffet hadn't been set up yet, so we had fruit, coffee, and juice to choose from. Everyone has an off day, and we could all use more fruit anyway. The price was reasonable. Nice place, and I'd stay again if I came this way.

The staff, food, beds, and atmosphere were all great, and I was very pleased with the stay overall. Our room was a different story: it hadn't been vacuumed, smelled moldy, and had loud heaters that didn't seem to work properly. The neighbors were noisy too. The place could use some updating and a better cleaning.

I've always liked staying here. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff is great, and breakfast is okay. My one complaint is that room service sometimes doesn't pick up, even when it's still early.
