Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta

The staff made the stay acceptable. Nearly everyone I dealt with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The rooms were decent, though nothing special. The food was the biggest letdown, especially for the price. I also didn’t hear any rock music. Maybe I expected more because of the Hard Rock Hotel name, but I thought the atmosphere would reflect it more. There are some significant things they could improve.

Zu (Sugey) and Diana looked after us on the beach, keeping drinks, water, and lunches coming right to our chairs. They were so kind and friendly. Francisco, Alex, and Uri handled our front-row beach chairs, dinner and spa bookings, nightly entertainment seats, and whatever else we needed. The entertainment was really good, and the food and drinks were excellent and plentiful. The resort felt safe, friendly, clean, and welcoming. Housekeeping made our rooms immaculate each day, with nice touches like chocolates and extra towels. The rooms felt small after the remodel, though, and the rain shower didn’t have nearly enough water pressure. Still, I’d give the stay 10 out of 10. We really enjoyed it and will come back after the rest of the resort is remodeled.

We had a wonderful week at Hard Rock Puerto Vallarta, and Uriel, Francisco, and Alex made a real difference. They sorted out dinner bookings, poolside chairs, and our Balinese beds, taking care of all the details so we could relax and spend time with family. They were friendly, responsive, and sincerely hospitable from the moment we arrived. We felt looked after the whole week. We’re going to miss them and the resort. Until next time!

We stayed at HRPV Feb 19-26 and even upgraded our membership. It was a chaotic time because of the events with the government and cartel, and the hotel went into lockdown quickly. The staff were amazing at helping everyone feel safe while still trying to enjoy a vacation. We loved the freshly made poolside pizza, the burgers, and the drinks that were always being poured. Frida, the Mexican restaurant, had incredible sunset views, and Ciao did great breakfasts. Luis, our favorite waiter, always had a story. The spa massage was so relaxing too. Georgia, the entertainment director, put in long hours and kept smiling, even after being required to stay on the premises. He was great at getting everyone into games and trivia. We always watch the Michael Jackson show on vacation. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes really bad, which is fun in its own way. This one was the best we’ve ever seen! Our butlers Uri, Alex, and especially our favorite, Francisco, kept finding us with reservations and event information and checking on us during the day. They made us feel like the most special guests. We’ll definitely be back.
