The hotel’s colorful, distinctly Mexican style gave it a lot of charm, and the room was lovely and clean. The bed was so comfortable that we slept really well. We also ate well, with nothing to complain about. Getting around Oaxaca was easy because everything was close by. They greeted us with a drink as soon as we arrived, a lovely surprise that made us feel welcome. It was a warm, comfortable stay, and I’d happily come back.

The bathroom wasn’t clean, which was a letdown, especially since the hotel has a nice atmosphere and a good location. I came to book in person at reception because I wanted somewhere quiet. The city can be loud at night, especially with the motorcycles, and the receptionist was very nice and assured me the nights would be quiet. But clubs nearby kept things noisy until 3 or 4 a.m. If you want to sleep on weekend nights, avoid this place.

We keep coming back whenever we visit Oaxaca. The restaurant food is delicious, everything is very clean, and the service is great. It’s also a short walk from the Zocalo.

The rooms are clean and okay, with a colonial look. It’s good value for money, and the hotel has complete amenities, including an elevator and drinks always available in the lobby. The hosts are kind, too. Best of all, it’s right in downtown Oaxaca.
