One Oaxaca Centro Hotel

Horrible place. The tiny beds were uncomfortable and sterile, and everything felt cheaply built with as little investment as possible. Stay somewhere else.

The breakfasts were pretty good most days, with a decent variety: scrambled eggs, a vegetable, tortilla chips and salsa, beans, and often another hot dish, plus cereal, milk, yogurt, fruit, baked goods, juice, and coffee. Restaurants and convenience stores are within walking distance. The underground parking was great, and there was security on site, so we felt safe. The hotel is easy to find at night too, just look for the blue light. We stayed a week. Our room was small but worked fine, with a full-size bed, a little desk and chair, a short rail for clothes, and a small bathroom. I would’ve preferred a queen, since full-size beds are too short. Housekeeping did a wonderful job, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The service was excellent, and the location was great.

It’s a good choice if you’re traveling alone or as a couple and won’t spend much time at the hotel. The facilities were clean, and the place is basic but does the job as somewhere to sleep. Breakfast is a buffet with only a few options, but it’s really good. Overall, a good option.
