We ended up booking another hotel late at night after a stressful arrival. We'd reserved a room around 3 pm and got there at 9 pm, exhausted from a full day of travel. The receptionist said our room had gone to someone else because our reservation wasn't guaranteed, and said there were no other rooms. Yet while we were there, Booking.com was still listing rooms for that night. When we complained that they shouldn't sell rooms if they had no vacancies, the receptionist seemed hesitant and made no effort to resolve it.

Everyone we dealt with went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay, both at the hotel and around town. The service couldn't have been better.

It's a simple hotel with just the basics, but the rooms are clean and spacious enough, and the staff are friendly and quick to help when something comes up. Coffee and water are complimentary, and the city center is an easy walk away. Good value for the price. The main drawbacks were noise from the nearby avenue and occasional lack of hot water in the shower, though staff fixed that promptly. I'd recommend it.

We were traveling by bus, and this worked well for both the bus station and the city center. The staff were welcoming and followed COVID precautions, wearing masks properly and disinfecting surfaces. Rooms were clean, and getting fresh towels was no problem. There was free drinking water and really good coffee, so we didn't have to worry if we forgot to buy water. I recommend this hotel.
