We only stopped for a drink, and had to ask for a menu because no one came over. We ordered two cocktails, which weren’t very good and took a long time to arrive, even though the restaurant was almost empty.

The building and rooms are lovely, in a quiet spot just off the town center. But avoid the food. My wife is in the hospital being treated for Salmonella, and this was the only place she ate or drank before she needed to be hospitalized. Please be warned.

Be careful booking this hotel through Airbnb. I first tried contacting the hotel directly, but never got a reply. Then I booked the junior suite for myself and my child over Halloween and Día de Los Muertos 2023. After I’d paid half, the “host” messaged to say prices had gone up and asked for another $190 per night, before taxes and fees, to keep the reservation. Airbnb said this wasn’t allowed and advised me to cancel so the host wouldn’t cancel during my trip, when the whole town was booked for the holiday. The bait and switch seemed pretty intentional.

We wanted a day to nap before a fun night out, but at 3 in the afternoon an awful oompah band started playing in the lobby for three hours. That was only the first of three bands in 24 hours, and management wouldn’t make them quiet down or leave. The rooms all face a very active courtyard, so the place is horribly noisy. There are no temperature controls in the room, just a window that opens onto the courtyard. If you don’t want to sweat to death, bring earplugs. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.
