What stayed with me most was the setting: the cabin is lovely, clean, and has an amazing view. It’s only about 1 km from the village, so I could walk everywhere easily. Still, the stay had some real problems. The cabin leaked, and the bathroom carpet stayed soaked because it wasn’t replaced. The cleaning woman was disrespectful and had no manners or customer service; since she cleaned in the afternoon, we had to deal with her and her dog. Communication with the employees was poor too. They never answered my messages, so I kept contacting the owner just to ask about getting a fire going. One of the worker’s sons played loud music afternoon and night, which made it hard to relax. I raised it with the owner, but she was managing remotely, so I don’t think she could do much right then. It would also have been easier to pay for an extra night at the cabin instead of walking to the village in the rain. The owner should talk with the employees about their responsibilities and keeping noise or unauthorized parties under control. There’s potential here if those things improve. I hope this feedback helps, it’s just my customer opinion, meant constructively.
