Hotel Dos Lunas - Hostel

Carolina and Luigi gave amazing service, and the place felt secure throughout. The rooms were clean and well kept, with useful desks. There's a nice upstairs balcony for afternoons and evenings, plus a covered terrace downstairs where you can get out of the heat. They offer coffee, a little weaker than I like but a nice touch, along with packaged cookies and oranges or apples in the morning. We got four stars because the bathroom drain pipes in our first room smelled, even though they had covers on them. The second room was great.

Quiet spot, and the Zocalo is very close. It was a good place for the night overall, though the stairway is very narrow if you're carrying luggage.

The location was great, just minutes from the middle of the historical centre. We loved this hostel. Our double room had its own bathroom, and though it was very basic, it had everything we needed. For the price, it was much nicer than expected. The hostel itself is cute, with a lovely rooftop terrace. Breakfast was freshly prepared every day, but it was quite deep-fried and didn't really suit us.

There's a 5% fee for paying by credit card, so cash may be the better option. The hotel has a nice upstairs balcony for hanging out at night or having morning coffee. It was clean, had a relaxed feel, and was easy to get to the main city centre. The museum and church were a 10-minute walk away. I'd stay again when traveling with a group like mine.
