The beds were super comfy, and the morning light coming in was almost mythical, gently waking me up. The staff were wonderful and had answers for our way too many questions. We checked in and found a really nice surprise waiting on the counter, but I won't spoil it. I did stumble on the way to the store and skin my knee because I was looking around like a tourist, entirely my own damn fault. Thanks, Casa Lita! Super awesome. I left a surprise for you guys too, a tip.

There’s a pool and a cleaning lady comes every day, but the shower had no hot water. With only one guest, the casa is quiet, and the other guests were nice. The kitchen is near room 1, though, so it gets busy early. There’s no restaurant here or golf course on site, apart from Hard Rock golf course a few minutes away. From the Sandos resort, a taxi to 5th ave costs 90 pesos. Around PlayaCar, there are only a few bars, restos, markets, pharmacies, and stores. The walk to 5th ave takes 45 minutes, good for keeping in shape!

Privacy is what makes the difference here. I found the service impeccable, the furniture and accessories top-quality, and the house very private and inviting, with a country club feel. The neighborhood is the best in Playa del Carmen, great for running or walking, with a golf course and shopping promenade. The house is on the golf course, not near the beach. There's another similar beach house a block from the beach, and they'll take you there in a Cadillac Escalade. Restaurants are outside the neighborhood, but that wasn't a problem for me. It's a great place to relax and enjoy yourself.
