For our first wedding anniversary, my husband and I had dinner at La Adelita, and we left full and happy. The food was a 10/10, and so were the restaurant and service. The chef and management greeted us, and our server kept checking in and taking great care of us. Everyone was friendly and attentive. We felt very looked after in such a welcoming place, and I definitely recommend it.

There was plenty to enjoy even during my short four-day stay for a wedding in April 2025. The all-inclusive package included fitness classes in the pool and on land, a dance night with local DJs, and lots of pools near the beach. Around the grounds I saw coatis, iguanas, Mexican agoutia, and a local cat that loved attention. The weather kept me from scuba diving or trying the other water activities, so I’d love to return and experience more of what cancun has to offer. I was really happy I stayed here. It seems like a great fit for a family trip or a couples vacation, and I had an amazing time.

We brought our kids, ages 7 and 6, and they had a blast. The place feels like a palm tree beach surrounded by a nature sanctuary, with beautiful grounds that are naturally maintained and eco friendly. The hard working staff go above and beyond day and night to keep the resort in great shape and provide amazing service. We ate at La Adelita and el Dorado at Colonial. Both were great, but the Pastor Tacos at Adelita were the best, and the Ceviche was top of line. Hacienda buffet and The Nest restaurant al Palladium Kantenah were also amazing, with excellent service from hard working people. The Nest has a private children play area, so kids can play while you enjoy a juicy steak.

The pools and restaurants have been great, and the food is pretty good. We ate at a La Adelita one night, where Juan was fantastic, very sweet, and great to us. The beach hasn’t been so great, though. The main spaces are beautiful, clean, well maintained, and have great seating. The rooms were a letdown. We asked for an ocean view and rooms near our friends, but got neither. They’re dated and run down: the furniture is worn, the bathroom looks like it may have mould, and the door chain couldn’t even reach the door, so it needed replacing. We also had to ask for the phone to be fixed because calls wouldn’t go through. Every shower leaks all over the bathroom. Even with the room problems, the stay has been great overall.
