Hacienda Valentina

The hacienda is in a very safe location, close to downtown. The owner is a really friendly guy. Our clean room was ready before the official check-in time, and the pool was a comfortable temperature. A great place to relax.

My stay was peaceful and restful. The room felt more like a private villa, and the grounds have a private cenote or water lagoon with fish and turtles. One limitation for food is that there's no fruit or healthy option for sale, just crisps and soda or cola. Uber Eats delivers, though, and there's a nearby shop for basics. Gracias Luis!

The rooms were clean, the air conditioning worked, reception from the staff was friendly, and there's a pool. The hotel is inexpensive, so you can't expect too much, but these problems could all be fixed with very little effort. After 9 PM, there's no one available to help, and no front desk. I spent 20 minutes looking for someone to ask for a pillow and one extra towel, but couldn't find anyone or reach them at the phone number in the booking. Other guests said a staff woman was in a room, but she never answered when I knocked, although I saw a light on and movement inside. The water temperature was hard to control, swinging from very hot to cold. The shower has no proper curtain, so water splashes everywhere, and the bed was very hard.
