The hotel has beautiful architecture and doesn't feel like an ordinary place. My bed was very comfortable, the location was perfect, and the staff were friendly and accommodating when I needed to change my stay. I loved it here and would highly recommend it.

My in-laws introduced us to this place a few years ago, after coming back as often as they could for years. It's become family lore, and I fight to make it back at least once a year. The owner and service are amazing. The rooftop patio is incredible, and the ocean view from up there has given me some of my best vacation memories. It's one block from a beautiful stretch of beach, right beside a 711 and a pharmacy for quick needs. P.S. the house margaritas at the restaurant on the bottom floor are a great value.

Fernando, Alejandra, and the rest of the staff are the best, and they always make me feel at home. I've stayed at The Cielo Hotel in Playa Del Carmen on several trips, and it's become my home away from home. Steve and his partners have spent over 20 years renovating this boutique Spanish hotel. It's right on the corner of 5th Avenue, the main drag, and the beach is about 1000 feet away. Three cheers for The Cielo!

We unexpectedly got stuck in PCD for a night, and Hotel Cielo accommodated a late check-in. The staff were wonderful, the rooms clean, and the decor and atmosphere lovely. There's also a great restaurant on site. It was a seven-minute walk from the ferry to Cozumel, our final destination. Would highly recommend.

Bernardo was amazing, and the hotel is really close to both 5th ave and the beach. We loved its well done taste of old Mexico and would stay again.
