The hotel is right on 5th Avenue, so it's very central, and I thought it was decent value. The furniture and the whole place feel quite outdated and are in serious need of renovation. Nearby clubs and bars play loud music at night, which can make getting a good night's sleep difficult.

The price is fantastic, and the location is amazing: a block from Fifth Avenue, the beach, and the nightclubs. The room had what we needed to be comfortable, but there was no iron or hairdryer. You had to ask reception for those, and availability varied, so it could be hard to get what you needed.

The hotel is clean and affordable, with a pool. The beach is half a block away, and everything is close by, including bars, plenty of places to eat, shops, and pharmacies. There's a taxi stand on the corner.

For 800 MXN, we got a perfectly clean, well-equipped room and an equally clean bathroom. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and there was a TV with cable and a fan. We had a balcony facing the street in a beautiful area, with an excellent location for walking into downtown Playa del Carmen. The 3.5-star rating doesn't do the hotel justice, especially for the price. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and we slept beautifully after an evening with a live band at Zenzi Beach, just 50 meters away.
