The rooftop was the best part, with a pool and room to sunbathe. We rented a large Airbnb in this building, and the apartments and lofts seemed good. It’s centrally located, though a bit north of downtown, with MEGA grocery store right beside it. A few things need attention: the entrance door doesn’t always lock properly, the elevator is tiny, and the rooftop hot tub is currently out of service.

The area is really handy. You can walk to the main strip, MEGA is right beside the building, and there’s a taxi stand outside. Bikes are available for riding to Playacar if you want a more private beach. There’s also a great local place two shops down, and having a washer and dryer was useful. The building has serious dampness issues. The windows don’t seal well, and water collects in the shower. You have to wait about 20 minutes between toilet flushes. Water damage from the AC was making the walls bulge. People smoke in their rooms and toss cigarette ends into the central water area, so watch out if you’re on the ground floor with your window open. The pool was close to useless, with old chairs and crumbling flooring that seemed borderline unsafe. When you leave the building, there are homeless people sleeping in the one to the right. That’s just something to be aware of, in case you have food or clothes to spare.

I enjoyed my stay. The rooms were clean, the neighborhood felt safe, and the rooftop was comfortable. The location was fantastic, and I’d recommend it to visitors.
