The building was quiet and secure, with an entry code that changes regularly, and it was kept immaculately clean. Our unit was just the right size for a couple, though there are no closets. The rooftop pool was great and I used it every day, but I wish there were a little shade. You might want to bring an umbrella if you plan to spend much time there. There’s a neighborhood dog that barks at night, which could be a problem if you’re a light sleeper. The location is ideal, a few blocks from 5th Ave and the beach without being in the middle of the bustle. Groceries, local restaurants, spas, clothing shops, and pretty much any service you need are within two blocks, often at more reasonable prices than on 5th. There’s also a nearby park with a playground. The Airbnb price was very reasonable, and I’d stay again.

My husband and I booked through Airbnb, but we were given the wrong address. The owner said there had been changes the day before, but no one told us. The room wasn’t the one we paid for, and its balcony door wouldn’t lock. There were cockroaches in the bathroom, and they charge for electricity if you use more than 15kw. A total nightmare. Don’t stay there.

The dogs bark constantly, all day and night, every day of the week. They also add extra charges to your Airbnb bill at the end of the stay.

The rooftop solárium and pool are fantastic. You’re only a few steps from major attractions and services, and there are security cameras on the property plus a guard onsite 24/7. Five stars across the board.

There are several nearby local restaurants with delicious food at reasonable prices. The location is prime too, within walking distance of 5ta avenida and local grocery stores. I’d definitely return.
