Agutis come through the garden every day, which is a fun bonus. The apartments sit in a quieter corner of Playa del Carmen beach, so it’s easy to unwind. They’re easy to find and right by the beach, and ours had everything we needed for a longer stay, including a fully equipped kitchen where we could cook. The pool bar is worth checking out too.

We hardly needed the car at all. The resort is well placed for walking to just about anything, and since most guests seem to be condo owners, it didn’t feel packed with tourists. Five Star Properties handled the booking and the lead-up to arrival really well, and Oscar, our property manager, was quick to help when I contacted him on the first day. He also replied to our later emails about clean towels and the washer, which wasn’t working right. Cleaning was the reason I took off a star. We stayed 11 days and the room was serviced only twice. They won’t clean if valuables are left out. With two adults and two kids, we had lots of phones, tablets, computers, and cameras, and we were in and out to the pool all day without knowing when housekeeping might arrive. It was hard to keep everything hidden every time.

Unit 705 was lovely, with a beautiful view out back and an easy walk to the pool. We stayed nearly three weeks and found very little missing. The kitchen had everything we needed for relaxed meals, and management sorted out issues quickly. When the coffee pot stopped working, a new one showed up the next day. Hurricane Grace made things dark for a couple of days, but the staff gave us helpful safety advice and tips for getting through it. We were fine and still enjoyed the property. There were interesting people to meet around the pool too. Enjoy your stay!

A quiet, relaxing place with a nice pool and swim-up bar. We stayed last April and found it one of the best complexes in PDC. It’s an easy walk to 5th Ave, restaurants, shops, and plenty of other things. We’d highly recommend staying here if you get the chance.
