The people here were so welcoming, and Poza Rica surprised me in a good way. It isn't a charming little town, but everyone seemed much more relaxed and friendly than in Mexico City. The hotel's restaurant is another reason I'd return just for the food. The plumbing and rooms could use some work, though. Still, it's a good place for a night or two. Thanks!

It was okay, but really loud. Cars kept going by and taxis honked through the night. I guess turning on the air conditioner blocked most of the noise.

The City Hall is only three blocks away, and El Tajín National Airport is under a 20-minute drive. Papantla City and El Tajín Archaeological Site are about 20 km from here. At the Best Western, Faja de Oro serves international dishes as well as food from the Huasteca region. There's also a bar with a TV showing soccer matches.

A good place to stay while you're in the city. The breakfast buffet was a little disappointing, though, and didn't quite meet my expectations.

Right downtown, and the food and drink menu is good. There are different kinds of food, mostly Mexican, and the prices are good too.
