City Express Junior by Marriott Puebla Angelopolis

The price is appealing if you mainly need a clean place to sleep, with a TV, hot water and breakfast buffet in the morning. It's near Angelópolis mall and not too far from Puebla Downtown. Rooms are small, fine for one person but pretty cramped and maybe uncomfortable for a couple. Some bathrooms smell bad, and as of October 2017 the hotel still wasn't fully ready. Even so, the cost compared with what you get makes it a decent option.

The rooms are quite small, so the price feels a little high to me. That's why I'm giving it four stars instead of five. Still, it's clean, in very good condition, and a good place to stay.

The biggest problem is how much sound comes through the walls. There's no soundproofing, and a neighbor shutting their door can literally make you jump in bed. It was empty this weekend, which was lucky, since other guests next door make it hard to sleep. The air conditioning blows straight at you. The TV only gets CNN (eeewww), though you're not here to watch TV anyway. It's obviously not the Hilton, but it does what you need, and Walmart Express is next door. For the price, it's a good deal: tiny Tokyo-style rooms, very clean, with a nice view of Angelopolis Lifestyle (giggle) Mall. Breakfast is included, the shower pressure was good, and the hot water worked. The staff were nice, especially the waiter in the breakfast area, who was friendly and accommodating.

A nice place in Puebla for a short trip. They have what you need for a brief stay.
