The bathroom has no exhaust fan, and there's no window to open, so smells linger unless you leave the door open. The AC itself works great. That was my only real downside. Otherwise, this was easily the best value of my two weeks in Puebla. The top deck has great views, a nice gym, and a warm pool. The staff handled every request, mostly a nightly wine opener, with grace and professionalism. Breakfast was the best in town, hands down, and was included. The WiFi and shower were perfect, too. If you're there on a Tuesday, ask for a complimentary drink or snack token. My stay added up to seven days, on and off, and I'll be back rather than waste time staying elsewhere. My only complaint is that the rooms have liquid soap but no bar soap. The staff were friendly and efficient, and breakfast was excellent, with both local and continental choices. It's a good hotel in a good location, close to lots of nice restaurants in Angelopolis.

I wouldn't change a thing. The rooms were the right size and had lovely decor and quality, the breakfast was amazing, and the rooftop pool was heated. The staff were amazing as well. Easily one of the best Holiday Inns I've stayed at!

There are plenty of newer restaurants and shops nearby, and the city views from the pool area are amazing. It's a clean hotel with good service and works well for a weekend or a simple stay. There's only a small shop at reception, though, and no food service throughout the day. The breakfast is very basic and repetitive, so a longer stay means eating the same limited options again and again. Weekend crowds also make breakfast chaotic. Guests can't pick up their own food, so the line gets crowded. At the same time, there's plastic covering everything, even apples and bananas, which doesn't seem necessary for COVID precautions and is sad for the environment. The COVID rules felt excessive in some areas and chaotic in others.
