Hotel de Guadalupe Puebla

I spent 12 days at this hotel in southern Puebla, and it wasn't a pleasant stay. The room was dirty and badly run down, almost destroyed, and the bathroom smelled strongly of sewage. You have to leave the shower running for about 10 minutes before the water gets hot. They only supply toilet paper and very cheap towels, nothing more. There was constant noise from the street-facing room, with barking dogs, people talking outside, heavy traffic, and police sirens. The place overall is neglected and dirty, with clutter everywhere. The kitchen is disorganized and filthy, and the lobby is dirty too. Staff were almost never around to help. I wouldn't go back or recommend it.

On my second stay, without a car, everything went great. The service is 10/10, though the reception isn't open around the clock. It's clean and comfortable, and covers the basic needs for a stay really well. The first time I came by car, I found out they don't have parking. Even so, I had a pretty good lodging experience.

It's an affordable, no-frills place that works well for a simple stay on a budget. There aren't any amenities, and the bathroom felt a little cramped, but the location is very good.

A quiet place with comfortable beds. It's a decent budget hotel, though the rooms are rather small and dark, and the bathroom is too.
