We ended up canceling because the hotel wouldn't answer our concerns about whether there was hot water, based on a review we'd seen. We called at least five times; someone picked up and quickly hung up without saying anything. That left us with no trust in the hotel, and we wondered how we could know its service wasn't a bad scam if they wouldn't even respond. The worst part is they still charged us a cancellation fee. They took no responsibility for our worries as guests. This felt irresponsible and greedy, as if they cared about money more than their reputation.

The front desk and restaurant staff were nice, but the limited internet made it a poor fit for doing business online, and the TV access was a joke. There's no luggage storage, and the hotel won't arrange any for you either. If you have a later flight on a local airline, plan to store your bags somewhere else or have them picked up right after checkout, otherwise you'll have to drag them around. Very inconvenient.

A neat little colonial-style hotel in the Callejon de los Sapos area, with rooms to match. Street vendors set up nearby, so it's handy if you want to visit Puebla's weekend flea markets.
