The old house's architecture is beautiful, and the items sold by local vendors on weekends fit its style so well. You can browse books, crafts, lovely hats, hand-painted wire accessories, and other things, with music playing throughout the day. Fun fact, the house was a filming location for the 2002 movie Frida, starring Salma Hayek. There's a chocolate service based on a recipe inspired by the owner, Elizabeth. She took the time to explain what inspired her coffee, too. They offer several European teas, and it's a treat to watch the barista make your drink while looking through the unusual things for sale. They ask how you'd like your sugar, whether you want cubes and cream, and describe the flavors carefully. Everything is brought to your table with care, whether you're by yourself or with others. The staff are attentive and clearly dedicated to their work. The music ranges from cultural selections to timeless songs for Mexicans, adding to the experience. I'd recommend visiting if you want a lovely place to reflect in the afternoon or simply discover somewhere new.
