We had a booking confirmation, but on arrival day the hotel staff came up with a story about no longer being able to accept the reservation. They offered no apology, just an excuse to cover what felt like unprofessional service. A complete disaster.

I paid about $25 a night for a one bed room, which felt like great value. The staff were friendly, too. There wasn't a fan, but with the curtains closed I left the balcony door slightly open overnight. The room stayed cool and I slept like a baby. Everything was great.

The parking setup was a headache, especially in the crowded city center. First they had me stop in front of the hotel for a photo of my plate, then drive around and park illegally across the street to register and pay. A police officer asked me to move the car while staff watched it, and it took another 10 minutes to reach the parking place. If you've got a car, I'd avoid this hotel. The place was clean and a good deal, though.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and had comfortable beds. Staff were great and moved me to another room when the one facing the busy road was too noisy. The central location was handy, but the hotel itself could be noisy. Rooms are dated and don't have a safe.

Clean and comfortable, with hot water and balconies. Parking was validated across the street. It's close to Zocalo, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
