The family who own and run The Dear really go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and help out. We stayed two nights and loved it. It’s in a great spot in Puebla’s historic center, directly opposite Carmen Park. The rooms are great, and there’s an excellent fully equipped kitchen plus two lovely lounge rooms. Highly recommend it when you’re in Puebla.

The Dear was spotless, including the bathroom, which was very, very clean. It’s a little gem in the heart of Barrio del Carmen. I really appreciated how attentive the owner was. She was always available and answered all my questions, and she was gracious when I needed to check in very early. There’s a great kitchen with lots of appliances, comfortable furniture, and a good bed. The room smelled clean, too. The only downside was the small bathroom, though changing the way the door opens might help. I hope I get to stay at The Dear again.

The owner was so friendly and helpful, and the location was great. We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated, and very clean. I’d definitely recommend The Dear.

I had to cancel my reservation at The Dear at the last minute, more than 24 hours before arrival. Booking approved the cancellation, but the owners didn’t refund me.

It feels more like a homestay than a hotel, in a good way. The hosts are very responsive, and the place is incredibly clean. The location is surprisingly quiet while still close to everything, right across from a lively park and behind some really good ice cream places. There’s a fully equipped kitchen, great light in the rooms, and several private and shared balconies. The wifi and shower were both great, too. I’d definitely stay here again.
