Bungalow Caburé

Luna and her family made us feel welcome and helped us settle in at Casa Cabure. It’s a 10-minute walk to the end of the beach and about 30 minutes to the town center. Shared taxis go to the depot, where you can catch another one to San Angustillio or Mazunte.

The rooms at Casa Caburé are tucked among plants and filled with natural light, with a calm feeling from the moment you arrive. The beds and pillows are unbelievably comfortable, the sort you sink into and sleep better than ever. Local chefs prepare fresh meals, and the location makes it an easy eight-minute walk through lush greenery to Playa del Amor (Lover's Beach). It’s a small paradise in Zipolite’s natural setting. I’d definitely return. It’s one of those hotels you visit once and keep wanting to come back to.

The best place to stay in Zipolite. Natalie, Frida, Luna, and Fernando are so warm and make you feel comfortable the whole time. The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are really spacious and comfortable.

The quiet was what made this place special for me. It’s away from the usual beach party scene, though the beach is still about a 10-minute walk and the restaurants are around 15 minutes away. Everything was lovely and clean, and I felt right at home. I even added more time to my stay because I liked it so much. They’re thoughtful hosts and really try to make sure you have a pleasant visit. This was my favorite accommodation in Mexico, and I’d book again. Thanks for everything!
