After a longer stay in zipolite, we came here for a few nights and wished we’d planned to travel down the coast sooner. The room had a seashell bed and a jacuzzi, and it was so relaxing. I felt like I’d landed on another planet, almost like heaven or some kind of fantasy. It has a mix of Greece, Mexico, and the Mediterranean about it. The staff were really helpful, and I’d definitely come back.

Alfredo was so thoughtful during our stay. He arranged balloons in the room and a cake for my wife’s birthday, and was always glad to answer questions or help with anything. The rooms and setting are stunning, with peaceful, relaxing views of the Pacific and the beaches below.

The meal planning was awkward. Dinner and breakfast had to be arranged with Ana in advance, there was no menu, and although we were told anything was possible, we had to work out what could actually be made. Two other French guests spoke fluent Spanish and helped us sort it out. Ana’s cooking was excellent, though, and deserves a full restaurant every day. We spent three nights at Passion de Luna on our honeymoon. It’s an unusual, art-like hotel perched on the rocks between the two beaches in Puerto Angel, and the views from the terrace and restaurant are amazing. Alfredo greeted us when we arrived, but the hotel staff apparently only work until 4pm, so he didn’t stay. The drive in is steep and badly maintained, and a 4x4 is highly recommended. Construction was still going on, leaving some areas looking messy. The location, the facilities’ potential, the cooking, and the friendly welcome all deserve five stars. But the unfinished property and inefficient management brought our rating down to three. Even getting a drink was impossible if it hadn’t been arranged the day before.

The rooms are modern, spacious, and spotless, with lovely terraces looking out over Puerto Angel bay. Everyone on staff was warm and welcoming, and they really try to make your stay special. If you want a fancy place to relax on this stretch of coast, this is a good choice. It’s still not completely finished, but the price is more than fair for what you get. Thank you so much for everything 🧡

I was sad to leave and can’t wait to return. Every room has a breathtaking view, and the dining areas and shared spaces are gorgeous too. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and we had a wonderful stay. The whole property feels unique and authentic, with so many caring touches. The photos don’t really capture it. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway!
